Blogging Break

Standard

Hi there,

I have decided to take a rest from blogging for a bit. Life is a wee bit hectic at the moment and I have found myself struggling to get posts out and wondering what to say. With baby stuff on my mind and other ordinary life pressures I find myself in a position of having to cut back a bit and also in a place were I am reflecting on what is important. I love blogging and interacting with readers but right now I don’t feel like I can do the best job I could. I’m a kind of both feet in type of girl so I hate doing a half hearted job just to keep something ticking over.

I think this is a season of rest and preparation for me – I want to slow things down a bit and listen for God’s voice.

Mark 6:31 Jesus said, “Come off by yourselves; let’s take a break and get a little rest.”  For there was constant coming and going. (The Message)

I’m pretty sure I will be back soon – I just didn’t want you to think that I have been raptured & that you have been left behind!

Take Care

It’s good to take the foot of the accelerator and slow down – you will have many blessings in listening without putting pressure on yourself.

  3. I’ve really enjoyed your blogs, so it’s a shame you’re taking a break. However, I completely understand your reasons, so take care and jump back in whenever you feel ready! God bless.

I just found your blog today, and love your posts. Your illustrations are beautiful. I’m a pastor and struggle with illustrations…what great inspiration I’ve found here! There’s plenty for me to read while you renovate. Peace.
